KIDAPAWAN CITY – THE CITY Government of Kidapawan and the Republic of Indonesia have agreed to forge a partnership in terms of Trade Investment and Tourism. City Mayor Atty. Jose Paolo Evangelista welcomed His Excellency Dr. Achmad Djatmiko – Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City on Friday, March 24, 2023 during the latter’s courtesy call and joint meeting on trade, investment and tourism promotion with the Local Chief Executive of the city. The officials met and talk about prospects that will form a lasting partnership between Kidapawan City and Indonesia that will bring in more prosperity and cultural exchange. The dialogue between the two officials centered mainly on trade and investment opportunities, tourism, agriculture, culture and the arts and sustainable environmental protection.Dr. Djatmiko admired the city for its beautiful landscape and greenery and considers these as potential for a strong partnership between his country and Kidapawan. Dr. Djatmiko led the Indonesian Consular team composed of Consul for Economic Affairs Novita Sientya Deysie Supit and Consular Staff for Economic, Information and Socio-Cultural Affairs Algen Landas, Geovani Mecompodis and Arvando Natanel Tampubolon. Also present were Department of Trade and Industry Cotabato Provincial Director Ferdinand Cabiles, Kidapawan Chamber of Commerce President Rey Narciso and Jennie Recimilla – Cabrera who is President of the Kidapawan Travel Agency Association. ##(CMO/cio)
